The bigger cost is usually payment processing: Jersey Watch publishes 3.5% + $1 per transaction and SportsEngine HQ 3.25% + $1.50. LeagueApps, PlayMetrics, TeamLinkt and TeamSnap (for clubs) do not publish their rates. Widdo adds a 0% platform fee on dues. Percentages hide in payout statements. Put in your players, your dues and the rate you pay today, or load a published rate, and compare it with a flat Widdo plan.
Your current provider's rate
Use the percentage and per-payment amount on your last payout statement or a written quote. Many providers do not publish them.
The difference shows up once both sides have numbers.

Worked example: one season of dues

Widdo's 0% applies to every payment: card and ACH payments go straight to the club's own Stripe account, so the only processing fee is Stripe's, and families can still pay by Zelle, bank transfer or cash with a receipt.
Add the subscription to the processing to get the season total. Widdo's subscription for twelve months is $1,188 (Starter), $2,988 (Pro), $5,988 (Enterprise).
Questions to ask when a price is not published
- What is the processing rate for cards and for ACH, and is there a fixed amount per transaction?
- Is there a platform or technology fee on top of processing?
- Can we pass the fee to families, and how is it shown to them?
- Is there a setup fee, an annual contract or a minimum?
- Which features are add-ons with their own price?
- What happens to fees when a payment is refunded?
Where Widdo fits
Card and ACH payments are for US clubs and go to the club's own Stripe account: the club connects its own Stripe account and pays Stripe's processing fee (Widdo takes 0%). Refunds and disputes are handled from the club's Stripe dashboard.
- Small and mid-size clubs (up to 500 players on self-serve plans) whose biggest headache is collecting monthly dues and knowing who owes.
- Clubs that want a flat monthly price and no percentage taken from dues by the software.
