Categories and age groups explained

Categories decide how Widdo groups players, sessions, charges and coaches. You can organize them by age range or by skill level.

1. To choose the mode, open Club Settings and select the Categories tab. Pick By age range (U-12, U-15, U-17) or By skill level (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced).
2. To change a category, open Categories and use the pencil icon on its card (Edit Category).
3. To change its status, click the status badge. A category can be Active, Pending or Inactive.
4. Use the other icon to add coaches. Players join through the enrollment link.

Tips

• Age categories use birth years. The form shows a line such as "Players aged 11 to 12 in 2026" so you can check the range.
• Changing the mode does not delete categories. Existing ones keep their setup, but you may need to adjust them by hand.
• Inactive categories cannot receive new coaches or players.
